This blog is an outlet for my musings, research notes, thoughts on life, intellectual forays, etc. etc.. I write it foremost for my own benefit and make no guarantees about post frequency, timeliness, or interest to anyone other than myself. That said, this blog is public for a reason: I welcome commentary, feedback, and conversation. Discussion is, in my experience, the best generator of exciting ideas.
With that in mind, I stand behind the claims and arguments made here somewhat more than I do in mere conversation, but less than I do in, say, academic essays. Everything said here is provisional, in the sense that while I may have good reasons for writing it at the time, it is always subject to revision, retraction, modification, or re-articulation to bring it in line with new facts or considerations. I do not take myself to be writing anything close to “gospel truth” — I’m just trying to bat ideas around and see what may be born.
